When used effectively, AI empowers the learner by expanding access to information, creating opportunities for collaboration, enhancing the feedback cycle, transforming data into meaningful insights, and streamlining routine tasks.

Educators and educational leaders play a critical role in guiding learners to use AI in ethical, innovative, and productive ways. This requires intentional leadership, the development of strategic AI roadmaps, and a commitment to building a culture that embraces AI's potential.

Mapping Your District's AI Future: Analysis to Roadmap

This targeted series of work sessions supports district leadership in developing a comprehensive AI roadmap. Through a systematic evaluation of your current AI implementation status within eight key areas, teams will identify strategic alignment opportunities and develop a detailed roadmap outlining future steps for growth, gap mitigation, and overall AI success. Q&A sessions with local district leaders will be integrated into working sessions, focused on the eight key areas.

The first and last session will include both the District Leadership Team and the AI Implementation Team (8-10 people). The middle sessions will focus separately on the District Leadership Team (4-5 people) and AI Implementation Team (4-5 people).

Teams should include district leadership and implementation staff. Sample participants include:

District Leadership Team

Adding AI to Your Toolbox

An opportunity for educators to explore how AI can enhance teaching practice, streamline workflow, and save valuable time in their work. Learn how AI can inspire new ideas, make planning more manageable, and support meaningful and authentic learning.

Educators will try out various AI tools, learn strategies for prompt engineering, and discuss mindsets that may hinder educators from fully embracing AI’s potential. Generate new ideas for managing routine tasks, creating more dynamic lessons, and improving how you plan for diverse learners using the power of AI.
