Institute for Personalized Learning - Learner-Centered Site Visits

Educators and learners working together in the classroom.

Visit schools where you can see powerful learning strategies first-hand. This unique experience is designed to provide access to learner-centered classrooms and programs. The agenda includes professional learning time with the i4PL Team to help visitors process what they see, as well as different schedule options to fit your needs. Participants will leave with concrete strategies for implementing learner-centered practices in their own classroom, school or district.

Registration Options

Option A: Day 1 Only
Includes Overview Session and two visits, as well as lunch and an informal debrief between visits. Day 1 - 8:00 AM to 2:30 PM

Option B: Day 1 (Full Day) & Day 2 (Visits Only)
Includes all visits on both days, as well as the Day 1 Overview Session, lunch, and informal debrief. Day 1 - 8:00 AM to 2:30 PM / Day 2 - 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM

Option C: Two Full Days
Includes the Day 1 Overview Session, all visits, and lunch on both days, as well as the informal debrief on Day 1 and Design Session with i4PL staff on Day 2. Day 1 - 8:00 AM to 2:30 PM / Day 2 - 9:00 AM to 2:30 PM

Site Visit Disclosures

All visitors are expected to follow the visitor and Health & Safety guidelines for each individual location. Visitors are expected to show a state-issued identification at all locations.

Each site will alert you to specific guidelines they have regarding the capture of still and/or video images and the inclusion of students. Regardless of this policy, these images should be used in good faith for your private use only and not used or shared publicly anywhere on the web, electronically or in print.

Districts also have the option of creating their own cohort of participants on a custom date that fits their schedule. Contact i4PL for pricing and scheduling options.

Registration Policies

Registration Deadline: Two calendar weeks prior to the first day of each set of site visits.

Cancellation Policy: Cancellations for site visits must be received at least 7 business days prior to the first date of each set of visits for a refund to be issued. Registrants who cancel less than 7 business days before or do not attend will be billed for the full fee, regardless of payment method.
