Bio
Kate Sommerville brings two decades of experience to her role as a Professional Development Specialist with i4PL serving a growing number of member school districts engaged in learner-centered practice. 

Using her creativity and enthusiasm, Kate supports educators, school, and district leaders as they shift their instructional practices and learning environments and rethink what school could be.  She has presented at local, state, and national conferences, and has a true passion for keeping the student at the center of learning through increasing the learner’s voice, curiosity driven experiences and nurturing agency. She looks forward to using her own personal experiences to network and coach educators, districts, and learners on their own journey towards learner-centered practice.
