Member Districts

Three women laugh and chat as they sit at a conference table.

Our work began with districts in the CESA 1 region in 2010.

From about a dozen districts in 2010, it has expanded to include districts and schools across the country. We work with them to uncover underlying assumptions about education, explore new principles for a transformed learning environment, and support them as they design, implement, and re-design learner-centered projects. Strategically applying influence and information throughout the public education ecosystem has the potential to maximize resources as well as the speed at which transformation occurs. Leveraging the interest, capacity, and expertise of individual districts throughout a region accelerates progress and benefits students and families across the region by:

  • Fostering innovation
  • Generating stakeholder engagement and ownership
  • Producing faster results
  • Replicating and scaling promising practices
  • Increasing the likelihood of sustainability
